The Ambassadors shall be a goodwill extension of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce; shall support and promote its membership, mission and activities.

Why Become an Ambassador

  • Ambassadors have the opportunity to serve the community through Chamber involvement and events.
  • Ambassadors shall have the opportunity to represent their company at all official Ambassador-Chamber related functions
  • Ambassadors shall have the opportunity to network during Ambassador functions and Chamber related functions
  • Ambassadors shall be eligible for door prizes awarded at Ambassador or Chamber functions
  • Ambassadors shall be eligible for an Ambassador of the Quarter Recognition or Ambassador of the Year Award recognizing outstanding performance and service

Ambassador Guidelines & Expectations

  • Ambassadors must be in good standing in their Chamber membership dues, either individually, or through their company.
  • The Ambassadors shall actively promote and support the Chamber’s events, mission and activities.
  • Each Ambassador shall annually sign and update their information indicating their willingness to serve in a volunteer capacity.  New Ambassadors shall be required to complete an Ambassador application and orientation.
  • Ambassador meetings shall be held quarterly. Each member shall have the opportunity to volunteer to sponsor a meeting.
  • Ambassadors will be notified of Ribbon Cuttings/Ground Breakings and other Ambassador events via e-mail, text message and Facebook.
  • Ambassadors will be asked to regularly attend Chamber functions including Ribbon Cuttings, Business After Hours, Coffee Connection and assist in other Chamber events as needed and deliver member certificates and ribbon cutting photos.
  • Ambassadors shall support the Chamber at ribbon cuttings and allow the business owner to meet with all business representatives. This is not an appropriate venue for sales pitches.
  • Ambassadors are requested to provide a business card to the owner/manager at ribbon cuttings so they can serve as a source of contact.
  • Ambassadors must obtain 50 points a quarter in order to remain active (Unless previously agreed upon).
  • When acting on behalf of the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and other events, Ambassadors will help provide an environment that is free from all forms of discrimination and conduct that can be considered harassing.

Erica Vaughan | Aloft Hotel

Erica Vaughan is the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Aloft Hotel by Marriott; a vibrant 130 room hotel, located on 52nd street in Rogers. With her 17 years of Hospitality experience, Erica is a strong, passionate, true advocate for the Rogers – Lowell area, specializing in attracting corporate and leisure business to the area.  Erica is a member of the Rogers Noon Rotary Club, and has spearheaded and assisted in numerous charitable activities including, Childcare Aware of NWA diaper drive, and Buckmaster’s of NWA.  Erica joined the Rogers – Lowell Chamber so that she could make an immediate impact on the local community.  She loves meeting new people every day and finding ways to help grow their business and get them involved.  She is very compassionate and reliable and always willing to give her time to help.  She is driven and her work ethic and faith have guided her to where she is today.  Erica is an Arkansas Native and loves the outdoors; whether it be hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, or just hanging with her dogs Penelope and Bobber.  She is adventurous and truly takes advantage of all the beauty Arkansas has to offer.  Another passion Erica has is as a youth pastor, where she helps teach and mold the younger generation.  Erica is a true inspiration to the Rogers-Lowell community.
