Ambassadors

Ambassador Mission Statement

The Ambassador Program consists of volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to assist the Chamber in various activities. Ambassadors serve a term of one calendar year, beginning in January of each year. Ambassadors can continue to serve after the one-year term if agreed upon by the Ambassador and the Chamber.

Testimonials:

"Being a Chamber Ambassador has connected me with the people who make our community what it is. I’ve gotten to celebrate new beginnings, meet incredible business owners, and serve alongside leaders who genuinely show up for each other," said Jesse Weegens, Business Development at F1RSTNB.

“Partnering with the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber as an ambassador has been an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Myers. “It has given me the opportunity to continue cultivating strong relationships with fellow business professionals while also sharing the roofing, siding, and gutter services Boston Mountain Roofing offers throughout Northwest Arkansas. It’s a meaningful way to both serve and stay engaged in our vibrant local economy."

 Ribbon Cuttings/Grand Openings

  • Ribbon cuttings are the celebration of a new business, re-grand opening, new location, new ownership, and/or anniversary celebration. Ambassadors receive calendar invites to all ribbon cutting and grand openings.

Monthly Meetings

  • We meet monthly on the third Thursday, typically from 12-1 p.m., with a few exceptions. Calendar invites for meetings will be sent at the top of the year, and updated with locations once they are confirmed.
  • Locations alternate between the Chamber and a member restaurant. Please plan to bring your own lunch to the Chamber unless indicated that it is a sponsored lunch. These lunches are a great opportunity for you to make connections, support fellow Chamber members, and a sign up for ways to earn points.

Ambassador Point System

  • As an Ambassador, you earn points for your involvement with the Chamber. Points opportunities will be communicated via email and at meetings. At 50 points, you will receive your own Chamber Ambassador name tag. When you attend events, be sure to find us and sign in to get your points!
  • Each quarter, the Ambassador with the highest points will be named Ambassador of the Quarter and featured in the corresponding Chamber eNewsletter, as well as on the RLC website. Ambassador of the Year is awarded to the Ambassador with the highest points for the year and will be recognized for their contribution to the organization. Note: An Ambassador is only eligible to win Ambassador of the Year every 2 years.

Social Posting Guidelines

  • Ambassadors can receive 10 points for posting on social media about ribbon cuttings, deliveries, Chamber events, etc., with an additional 5 points for posting on multiple platforms. A screenshot of your post must be sent to [email protected] to receive points. Posts that contain profanity, NSFW imagery or wording, or disparaging reviews of a business will not earn points.

 Member Engagement Visits

  • Ambassadors help guide members in how to get the most out of their membership and connect members with resources for success. Member Engagement visits are personal visits Ambassadors make to Chamber members to foster a community where all members are connected, informed, engaged and supported. This is a fantastic opportunity for Ambassadors to have a deeper quality connection with the members they are visiting. For your first Member Engagement visit, you will attend alongside a current Ambassador or Chamber staff member.
