Today, the Walmart AMP announced a $7.7 million expansion plan for the venue’s premium hospitality complex and the Willard and Pat Walker Family Artist Wing. The projects are made possible by Walmart, General Mills, Monster, Land O’Lakes and the Walker Foundation.

“Pollstar ranked the Walmart AMP as a top 20 amphitheater worldwide based on ticket sales and revenue this season, and we want to make sure we stay competitive in a marketplace that is constantly evolving,” said Brian Crowne, vice president of the Walmart AMP and Strategic Initiatives. “These projects add to our premium hospitality experiences for patrons, sponsors and artists.”

A two-story, permanent hospitality complex will replace the open-air tent that has housed the Land O’Lakes Lounge since the venue opened in 2014. The lounge will occupy the bottom floor of the new building and will be partially enclosed and climate controlled for a more elevated experience. Lounge members will also have access to a patio and new restrooms on the second floor.

The second floor will house an all-inclusive club experience with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, an elevated culinary experience, air conditioning, comfortable seating and private access to a patio. Members will enjoy an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere perfect for entertaining friends, family, clients or colleagues.

The expansion will almost double the square footage of the existing hospitality complex, taking it to 12,725 square feet with more than 6,000 square feet of the space now climate controlled.

A limited number of memberships to the all-inclusive club are available to purchase. Individual memberships start at $5,000 annually. For more information about memberships contact the Development Team at [email protected].

The artist hospitality expansion will add 1,274 square feet to the artist wing backstage. The addition includes a dedicated gym for artists, crews and their families as well as an artist lounge connected to the dressing, catering and production areas. These amenities will help the Walmart AMP remain a preferred destination for top-tier talent.

“It’s important to not only attract top artists to our venue, but we also want to make sure they have a great experience when they are here so they want to return,” Crowne said. “This expanded artist space gives them flex space to work out, play video games and be able to get off the tour buses and spend time with their family or crew. It gives them a much-needed break when they are on long tours.”

Ellingson Contracting of Siloam Springs is the contractor for both projects and work is expected to be complete in time for the 2027 Synchrony Concert Series.
