Celebrate the season with the Benton County Master Gardeners at the Rogers Historical
Museum! Immerse yourself in the warmth and charm of a holiday inspired Victorian Christmas program,
“Victorian Holiday Traditions: Gardens, Greens & Timeless Celebrations”, as we explore historic botanical traditions, festive winter greens, and holiday customs. Join us at the museum’s Key Wing Education Center on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Discover how families of the Victorian era decorated their homes with evergreen boughs, holly, ivy, ribbons, candles, and other natural elements to celebrate the holiday season. Learn the history and symbolism behind many of the Christmas traditions we still enjoy today while exploring how gardens played an important role in holiday celebrations.
Make-and-Take Activity: Create your own traditional Victorian kissing ball to bring the beauty of the season into your home.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For more information, visit rogershistoricalmuseum.org or follow Facebook @bentoncountyarkansasmastergardeners and @RogersHistoricalMuseum.
