Shake up your night at Walton Arts Center with a hands-on cocktail class. Available before select shows throughout our 35th Anniversary season and during the holidays, you’ll learn about ingredients, techniques and how to make fun, themed drinks.
This immersive experience is back by popular demand, but new this year, we’ve partnered with Pink House Alchemy to create delicious recipes using their syrups and bitters. Plus, your recipe cards from the class get you 10% off the ingredients at Liquor World, so you can remake the drinks at home.
Whether you are a seasoned sipper or curious beginner, this interactive class will teach you the secrets of crafting two beautifully balanced cocktails or mocktails. We provide expert instructors, fresh ingredients, premium spirits, tips and tricks you won’t find online and tasty appetizers to enjoy alongside your drinks - all in a social atmosphere where you can meet new people.
Most classes happen before a Broadway show, so you can add a cocktail class before a show for a full evening of delightful discovery at the theater or take a cocktail class before heading out to an evening with friends on Dickson Street.
There’s also an opportunity to shake, stir and sip your way into the holiday season with a special Holiday Spirits Cocktail Class. Learn to make two seasonal cocktails so you can dazzle your party guests throughout the holidays. After the class you can either get $10 tickets to Mariachi Herencia de México: A Mariachi Christmas in Baum Walker Hall at 7 pm or keep the good vibes going and drop into the free Vinyl Night in the Alexander Gallery 6-8 pm during the sixth annual regional art exhibit Our Art, Our Region, Our Time.
Space is limited—reserve your shaker for $51.75 online at waltonartscenter.org or by calling 479.443.5600. Save when you purchase three or more classes for $39 each. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
