Hall Booth Smith to Host Invitation-Only Lunch & Learn on the Changing Workplace Legal Landscape

Employers today are navigating a workplace environment that is changing rapidly. From artificial intelligence and workplace investigations to immigration enforcement and evolving employment policies, staying informed and compliant has become increasingly important for businesses of all sizes.

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. will host an invitation-only Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, October 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sterling Bank Community Room in Rogers. Lunch will be provided by Hall Booth Smith.

The program, “The Workplace Legal Landscape: What Employers Need to Know,” will feature Jeffrey Daitz and Misty Borkowski of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. The discussion will provide practical insight into several issues employers and HR professionals are facing in today's workplace, including:

  • Workplace investigations and management liability
  • The impact of artificial intelligence on employment law
  • Protected classifications and workplace culture
  • I-9 compliance and immigration enforcement
  • Visa sponsorship and evolving immigration policies
  • Common compliance pitfalls and when employers should seek legal guidance

For organizations with a workforce that includes international employees, immigration compliance and enforcement are particularly important. At the same time, changes in technology, employment practices and workplace expectations are creating new legal considerations for employers across many industries.

The Lunch & Learn is designed to help employers and HR professionals better understand these evolving issues, identify potential areas of risk and make informed decisions about when to seek legal guidance.

This is an invitation-only event.

Hall Booth Smith has invited HR professionals and business leaders from organizations throughout the community, including major employers and companies that would benefit from having these conversations with experienced employment and immigration attorneys.

If you are an HR professional, business owner or organizational leader who would like to learn more about the Lunch & Learn or request an invitation, please contact Christina Murphy at Hall Booth Smith at [email protected].
