After more than two decades spent touring together, Henhouse Prowlers’ trademark four-part harmonies have matured in tone and sincerity, and their picking is as ferocious as ever. Their 2025 album Unravel underscores the quartet’s resistance toward being contained in one genre. Some tunes express a modern Americana feel with others nodding to classic country and bluegrass standards. Incorporating inspiring narratives
and bluegrass interpretations of international tunes, each member’s skills of storytelling, compelling songwriting and intricate instrumentation shine when performed live.
