Iron Chef Cat Cora is hosting a restaurant takeover at Seven Ponies inside Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola on Oct. 23 and 24.
Cora, who trained at the Culinary Institute of America, became the first female Iron Chef in 2005. She cooked at two 3-star Michelin restaurants in France, has been featured on TV since 1999 and became the first female to be inducted into the American Academy of Chefs Culinary Hall of Fame. She’s opened 18 restaurants, wrote four cookbooks and founded Chefs for Humanity, a nonprofit aimed at reducing hunger worldwide.
Cora will be hosting a four-course meal inside Seven Ponies Restaurant on Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24, with seatings at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $250 for a table of two and $500 for a table of four. They can be purchased here.
Cora will make appearances in the dining room throughout the evening, while also working with Choctaw’s chefs to prepare delicious dishes, including a tri-color salad, lemon ricotta ravioli, grilled filet mignon, and a pear and almond tart.
Cora is the second chef of Choctaw Casino & Resort’s fall 2026 chef series, following Geoffrey Zakarian who hosted in September. Past restaurant takeovers have been hosted by Alex Guarnaschelli, Scott Conant, Jet Tila and Maneet Chauhan among others.
