
Are you looking for a fun and educational activity for your preschooler? Join the Rogers Historical Museum and Rogers Public Library for “Museum and Me”, every 2nd Tuesday in September through May at 9:00 a.m. for an hour-long, free program at the Rogers Historical Museum for children ages 3-5 that helps foster interest in history, reading and museums. Each month features a themed story and fun activities that preschoolers are sure to love. January 12: Planes
It’s a bird! No, it’s a plane! Join us in January as we learn about planes and famous local aviatrix Louise Thaden.
February 9: Caves
Better bring a flashlight because February is all about caves! We’ll learn about how they are used by people and
animals.
March 9: Pigs
We’re going to call the hogs! Well, kind of. March is all about pigs on the farm.
April 13: Earth Day
In April we are celebrating the Earth! Join us as we learn about Earth Day and how we can protect the planet that
we live on.
May 11: Lakes
It is almost summer and that means lake time! Learn about the lakes that we have here in Northwest Arkansas and
how important they are as both a water source and for recreation.
