Prairie Creek Marina recently launched Prairie Creek Boat Club, a membership-based boating program designed to give Northwest Arkansas residents more opportunities to enjoy beautiful Beaver Lake without the responsibilities of boat ownership.
The Boat Club provides members with access to a premium club boat conveniently located at Prairie Creek Marina. The marina team handles the cleaning, fueling, storage, and maintenance, allowing members to simply arrive, get on the water, and enjoy their day.
“We saw a need for an additional option for local families and individuals who want to spend more time on Beaver Lake but may not be ready to purchase a boat,” said Taylor Moore, General Manager of Prairie Creek Marina. “The Boat Club offers a unique experience that falls between renting and owning. Members receive the convenience and flexibility of a rental while enjoying more frequent access and the feeling of having a boat of their own.”
Prairie Creek Boat Club launched this spring with a brand-new 2026 Sylvan R22 pontoon. As membership grows, the club plans to expand its fleet while maintaining a low member-to-boat ratio. The club’s goal is to have no more than eight members per boat, which is below the typical industry standard and helps provide greater availability and a better overall member experience.
Membership availability is intentionally limited, particularly during the club’s founding year. This allows the Prairie Creek Marina team to grow the program responsibly while continuing to provide personalized service and convenient access to the boat.
Membership plans include a set number of reservations that members may have scheduled at one time, depending on the plan selected. However, there is no limit to the total number of times a member may use the boat throughout the year. Once a reservation is completed, members can schedule their next boating day and are encouraged to enjoy the boat as often as possible.
Although Arkansas weather can be unpredictable, Beaver Lake offers many great boating opportunities beyond the traditional summer season. Beautiful spring and fall weather creates ideal conditions for cruising, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends. Mild winter days can also provide excellent opportunities for fishing and enjoying a quieter day on the lake.
