Born in Newark, New Jersey, Ice-T’s talent for rhyme saved him from a life on the streets when he moved to South Central Los Angeles. In 1987, he released his debut album, Rhyme Pays which eventually went Gold®.  Ice-T released two more albums in the late 1980s, confirming his status as one of West Coast rap's most promising stars. His album O.G. Original Gangster (1991) was later cited as one of the key factors in developing the genre of gangster rap. Mixing social commentary with inflammatory lyrics, the rapper pushed musical boundaries by recording a heavy metal track with the band Body Count. In 1992, Ice-T again collaborated with Body Count on their self-titled debut album, a record that included the most controversial song of Ice-T's career: "Cop Killer."

DJ Evil E will perform with Ice-T, who brought him into his production company, Rhyme Syndicate in the mid-1980s. DJ Evil E appeared in the 1985 film Rappin’ alongside Ice-T and appears on the front covers of Ice-T’s first two albums and provides scratches for both.

Rakim Allah first exploded onto the scene with the release of iconic “Eric B. is President” in 1986 with longtime collaborator Eric B. His recordings, including the all-time classics Paid In Full, Follow the Leader and The 18th Letter, have sold in the multi-millions worldwide. Billboard, Rolling Stone, MTV and a host of others consistently refer to Paid in Full as “the greatest hip-hop album of all time”. These Platinum® albums line the walls of the Broadway, MCA and Universal labels and he has added his star talents to projects for Alicia Keys, Jody Watley, Damian Marley, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Mobb Deep, Lloyd Banks, Limp Bizkit, Gang Starr and Truth Hurts among many others.

Since 1985, DJ Jazzy Jeff has wowed us with his flawless turntable skills, innovative production and musical versatility. With the success of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, his acclaimed production company A Touch of Jazz, a DMC Championship, and multiple Grammy® and American Music Awards wins and nominations, DJ Jazzy Jeff proves time and again that he’ll always be a force to be reckoned with.

Big Daddy Kane, one of hip-hop's most lyrically diverse, innovative, trendsetting Master of Ceremonies, began his musical career when he was signed to Cold Chillin’ Records in 1987 and released his debut album Long Live The Kane, with singles “Raw” and “Ain’t No Half Steppin” which became instant hits. He is known for being able to flow with ease even over the fastest of beats and showcased his skills in successful follow-up albums It’s A Big Daddy Thing, the Gold-certified I Get The Job Done and Taste Of Chocolate.

The Sugarhill Gang, Wonder Mike (Michael Wright), Master Gee (Guy O’Brien) and Henry Jackson (Big Bank Hank) crashed into the mainstream of society with the first worldwide rap hit, "Rapper's Delight" in 1979. Sugarhill Gang is believed by many to be the first professional hip-hop group, because they introduced to the masses this unprecedented genre of music. “Rapper's Delight” eventually sold over eight million copies and went on to be the biggest selling rap single of all time. Even today, it continues to appeal to audiences of all ages. Wonder Mike and Master Gee teamed up with Henry Williams (Hendogg) and DJ T. Dynasty both who have performed with the group for 20 years and continue creating new music, while still pleasing the crowds with their greatest hits.
