Rogers to Mark Milestone on New Fire Station 4 with Topping Out Ceremony
The City of Rogers will host a Topping Out Ceremony for the new Fire Station 4 on April 30, marking a key milestone in construction of one of the city’s most critical public safety projects. The ceremony will include remarks from city leadership and a beam signing.
Event Details:
April 30, 2026
2:30 PM
2424 W Olive Street, Rogers, AR
“Station 4 is one of the busiest in our system, and that’s only increasing as Rogers grows. This new facility will give our crews the space, equipment, and layout they need to respond faster and handle the volume we’re seeing every day.”
BJ Hyde, Fire Chief, Rogers Fire Department
In 2025, the Rogers Fire Department responded to 8,711 incidents, including 5,920 EMS calls. Fire Station 4 is one of the busiest in the department and plays a central role in emergency response in midtown Rogers. Medic 4, the ambulance assigned to Station 4, handled 26.8% of all EMS calls in 2025.
Fire Station 4 is designed to keep pace with that demand. The upgraded station will:
- Reduce emergency response times with improved apparatus circulation and faster-deploying bi-fold bay doors
- Support simultaneous multi-unit response, allowing crews to handle larger or more complex incidents more effectively
- Centralize critical EMS resources, improving readiness across the entire system
- Increase staffing capacity, with room to house multiple fire and ambulance companies as demand grows
- Strengthen coverage in a high-growth corridor, ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with residential and commercial development
“Public safety infrastructure has to grow alongside the city. Fire Station 4 is a clear example of how we’re planning ahead, making sure our first responders have what they need while supporting continued residential and commercial development in this part of Rogers.”
Greg Hines, Mayor, City of Rogers
The new Fire Station 4 is being constructed alongside the existing station, allowing crews to maintain full operations throughout the project and ensuring uninterrupted emergency response for the surrounding area. The project is part of a broader redevelopment along West Olive Street that will also include a rebuilt and expanded Olive Street Park.
