Walmart AMP Nominated for Country Music Industry Award

NWA Venue is One of Five Nominees for Outdoor Venue of the Year

The Walmart AMP has been nominated in the category of outdoor venue of the year for the 61st Academy of Country Music Industry Awards. 

 

Nominees were selected by a panel of industry experts in recognition of the venue’s outstanding commitment to the country music community. 

 

“It’s an honor to be nominated for this award by the country music industry,” said Brian Crowne, vice president of the Walmart AMP and Strategic Initiatives. “The class and caliber of the other venues in this category is what makes this really special to us and we think this speaks volumes about our venue our staff and how we take care of the artists who perform here.”

 

Other nominees in the category include CMAC in Canandaigua, New York; Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas; The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama; and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. 

 

In addition to outdoor venue of the year, The Industry Awards also include recognition for arena, casino - arena, casino – theater, club, fair/rodeo and festival of the year. The winner will be determined by a vote of ACM members in the artist, musician, producer, engineer, venue, manager, talent agent, talent buyer and promoter membership categories. 

 

Winners will be announced in the coming weeks and trophies will be presented to recipients at the 19th Academy of Country Music Honors in August in Nashville.
