Now in it’s tenth year, regional a cappella groups will take center stage at the annual VoiceJam Competition and battle to be named the VoiceJam grand champion. This fan-favorite events return to Walton Arts Center on Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 pm.
Sick beats, dynamic choreography and mind-blowing harmonies are a few of the hallmarks of the competition. The top high school, collegiate and community vocal bands from around the country come together to battle live on-stage. This year, groups come from Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Missouri and Tennessee.
A panel of judges will select the grand champion and will also recognize best choreography, best vocal percussion, best arrangement and best soloist. Audience members will get to vote on their favorite group for the audience-choice award, aca-fan favorite.
All-in standard tickets to the VoiceJam Competition are $31.05.
Kick off the festival with professional headliner Voctave on Friday, April 10 at 7:30 pm. This dynamic 11-member group is renowned for their intricate and captivating vocal arrangements. They’ve collaborated with with a host of Grammy®, Dove and American Music Award winners, including Sandi Patty, Pentatonix's Kirstin Maldonado, Mark Lowry, David Phelps and Jody McBrayer, and their impressive discography boasts multiple No.1 songs and albums on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
