VoiceJam is known for bringing the best a cappella groups from across the country to compete at Walton Arts Center, but the two-day festival will also feature an adult vocal group comprised of local singers.
This is the fourth year for the WACappella ensemble, that will perform while the judges deliberate during the annual VoiceJam Competition on Saturday, April 11. The 19-person group includes two new members, Kelsey Libman and Teagan Hanson of Fayetteville.
Returning members are Allyssa Beaver and Allison Earhart of Bentonville; Elizabeth Rogers and Diane Higgins of Bella Vista; Isabel McDowell of Decatur; Catherine Warren of Farmington; Fidelma Farinas-Cobas, Kelly Daugherty, Shelby Green, Garney Fendley, Kailey Erwin, Timmy Rosno of Fayetteville; Erick Amaya and Evan Law of Ft. Smith; Lorna Nulph of Prairie Grove; Jim Bob Lloyd and Kendal Strong of Springdale.
A cappella fans and performers alike will gather April 10-12 for the VoiceJam Festival, a weekend of aca-activities, including workshops, a headliner concert by Voctave, the VoiceJam Competition and One-Day Choir, a free, no-audition community singing event.
