Washington Regional Urgent Care has opened a new location at 1900 W. Walnut Street by Arkansas Federal Credit Union. This makes the second location with the first located at 2301 W. Pleasant Grove Road across from Smoothie King.

When an illness or unexpected injury occurs, Washington Regional’s seven urgent care locations offer urgent care, family care, and occupational health services.

“It’s important for families to have a quality health care option that is comprehensive and affordable – and in a convenient location,” said Mike Dupuis, Vice President of Washington Regional Urgent Care centers. “Urgent care services provide faster, trusted medical attention allowing patients to receive the prompt care they need without a trip to the ER for a non-life-threatening condition or waiting for an appointment with their physician.”

For added convenience, walk-ins are welcome, or patients can plan a same or next-day visit online with Hold My Spot®, or reserve a virtual visit. With onsite X-ray and lab tests, the centers treat patients with non-life-threatening health conditions and injuries, including:

  • Medically supervised weight loss
    Asthma and allergies
Flu, colds, viral illnesses, and COVID-19 testing
    Bites, stings, allergic reactions
    Broken bones, sprains, strains
    Diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting
    Ear and eye injuries
    Skin conditions, including burns
    Stitches
School, sports, wellness, and DOT physicals
    Immunizations and vaccinations
    Occupational health services
    Urinary tract infection

Additionally, all Washington Regional Urgent Care centers are accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America and are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday Noon to 7 p.m. Many insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted, as well as cash and credit cards.
