
Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant will host its second-ever chef event on July 19 when Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis brings her Italian flare to the Magnolia Ballroom.
De Laurentiis is an Emmy award-winning television personality and NBC Today Show contributor, and the author of 11 New York Times bestselling cookbooks, including her latest cookbook, Super-Italian. She’s the owner of restaurants GIADA and Pronto by Giada in Las Vegas, Luna and Pronto by Giada in Scottsdale, as well as new concepts Sorellina and Sorella, coming to the Chicago area in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
She is the second chef to make an appearance at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant, following Iron Chef Bobby Flay cooking for a sold-out crowd in March.
On Saturday, July 19, De Laurentiis will be in the kitchen at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant working with chefs to create a special signature four-course meal featuring dishes from her newest cookbook, as well as performing a live demo during the meal in the Magnolia Ballroom.
Guests can choose between four tiers for their ideal experience, all of which include a four-course meal and on-stage demonstration from De Laurentiis.
- Tier 1 ($499): Guests in Tier 1 will have a premium seat for the demonstration, enjoy a four-course meal and receive an autograph during Giada’s meet and greet.
- Tier 2 ($399): Guests will enjoy a four-course meal and receive an autograph during Giada’s meet and greet.
- Tier 3 ($349: Guests will receive a four-course meal and pre-signed item from Giada.
- Tier 4 ($299: Guests will receive a four-course meal.
There will be seatings at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and tickets go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. CT.
