A new large-scale multifamily development at 401 First Street has opened for leasing — the first of its kind in downtown Rogers.
People can begin moving into First Street Flats starting Feb. 1, 2025, according to a release from property developers Specialized Real Estate Group.
From studios to two-bedroom apartments, the complex offers 121 units. Amenities include a gathering space, a refreshing pool plunge, and electric charging stations.
First Street Flats is also one of the first properties in Arkansas to achieve net-zero readiness by using on-property solar panels and other energy-efficient construction practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
"First Street Flats is a lifestyle choice for those seeking connectivity and convenience while also promoting sustainability,” property manager Mark Mansell said. “This development will pilot an energy monitoring system that allows the management team to track energy consumption per unit and educate residents on ways to reduce their usage, creating a collaborative effort among residents to achieve energy savings and contribute to the net-zero target."
Specialized Real Estate Group said the development is a part of the Downtown Rogers Initiative Plan.
