Rogers, Ark. – The RogersPrays Committee has announced details on the 24th Annual Rogers Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. This year’s event will be on May 2nd at 6:30am. It will be held at Cross Church in Pinnacle Hills, located at 2448 Pinnacle Hills Parkway. This event brings the Rogers business, civic and faith communities together in celebration of the National Day of Prayer.
The keynote speaker will be Reverend Biff Averitt. After numerous successful pastoral appointments in churches across Arkansas, Reverend Averitt was appointed senior pastor of Central United Methodist Church of Rogers in 2002. He served there until his retirement in 2008. Following his retirement, he was honored to receive the Cornerstone award in 2009.
