The Music Moves Music Depot Grand Opening

A Celebration of a New Music Venue in Downtown Rogers, Featuring
a Live Performance from the HamilTones

Rogers, AR- June 27, 2023- The city of Rogers is about to welcome its newest live music venue, the Music Depot. The Music Depot, occupying the building that is formerly known as Golden’s Jewelry, will be a vibrant addition to the cultural landscape of Northwest Arkansas, highlighting live Black Roots music, hosting educational workshops, and contributing to the natural love for the arts that is native to the city of Rogers.

Located in the heart of Downtown Rogers, The Music Depot aims to provide a space for both entertainment and education, specifically paying homage to Black Roots music such as blues, jazz, hip-hop and R&B, gospel, and more. This new facility has been designed to provide an immersive and intimate concert experience, ensuring an unforgettable time for every attendee. Several exciting acts have already been booked for the summer and upcoming fall season such as Dee Dee Jones, Dino D & The DTrain, and The Rodney Block Collective to name a few. The Music Moves’ educational curriculum features 16 units for grades K-12 that teach the history of black music and its vital role in cultural expression and political activism in the Black Community, and The Music Depot will serve as a space where students can come and learn this exciting material.

The Music Depot Grand Opening will feature two live performances from the North Carolina-based, modern-day quartet-style group, The Ton3s. Comprised of J. Vito, Tony Lelol, and 2E, The Ton3s are known for their effortless blend of soul, R&B, and funk. The Ton3s have had an impressive career thus far, appearing on shows such as The Breakfast Club and Steve Harvey’s Morning Show, selling out The Apollo,
and being featured on Grammy-nominated albums by artists including Anthony Hamilton, PJ Morton, Jonathan McReynolds, and Tori Kelly. With their mesmerizing vocal ability and captivating stage presence, The Ton3s are sure to be a dynamic first act for The Music Depot. The Music Depot Grand Opening will take place Friday, July 7 with the first Ton3s performance happening at 6:30 and the second happening at 9:00 p.m. The Music Depot is excited to share this space with the Downtown Rogers Community and contribute to the overall Northwest Arkansas music ecosystem.
