SafeHaven Security Group has announced the promotion of Michael Johnson to the position of Senior Consultant-Behavioral Threat Management. In this new capacity, Johnson will be responsible for leading a team of experts who keep people safe through assessing potential workplace violence situations, active shooter prevention, advising clients on how to conduct safe high-risk terminations, facility risk assessments, and other safety and security matters to keep clients safe and to protect their brands.
Since first joining Safehaven Security Group in 2021, Johnson has served as the Director of Security Operations. During that time, Johnson provided leadership to the company through team management, training, and client consultations.
Before his time at SafeHaven, Johnson spent over three decades leading law enforcement, criminal investigations, undercover narcotics teams, patrol, SWAT, and previously in the United States Military leading criminal investigations. Johnson is a graduate of the FBI National Academy with an emphasis in Behavioral Sciences.
