Railyard Park in Downtown Rogers Named Outdoor Facility of the Year in Arkansas

Railyard Park was named Outdoor Facility of the Year over $500,000 at the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association Conference. Rogers Parks & Recreation representatives accepted the award at the Conference. The City of Rogers contributed to the revitalization of Downtown Rogers with the Railyard Park development with a grant from the Walton Family Foundation. This park, located in the Railyard Entertainment District, allows residents and visitors to enjoy downtown in a new way as a destination location for family play time, picnics, the Rogers Local Food Market, pop-up vendors and performers during Art on the Bricks Art Walk and live music at the adjacent Butterfield Stage.

The City of Rogers Public Art Commission also worked with artists to produce eye-catching original artwork for the Railyard Park “Water Stop” water towers. to further reflect the thriving local culture, and boost economic activity in downtown Rogers.

  • Restroom facilities located in the Playard and across the street near Centennial Park
