Here’s who will be at Railyard Live this weekend.
Friday Night: Troy Farnam Band with the Violent Pines
Troy Farnam is an Arkansas-born singer-songwriter and has spent his years writing and sharing the songs representing life and times in the Natural State. He has fronted bands for over 30 years and worked with top-tier artists in the genres of Southern Rock, Country, Blues, RnB, and more. He is known by his peers for his heartfelt writing, versatile vocals, and charismatic character.
The Violent Pines are the acoustic singer-songwriter duo Will Saylor and Drew McLaughlin.
Saturday Night: Oreo Blue
Now entering its 33rd year as a band, with 12 indie albums, 3 Halls of Fame Awards, 17 Music Awards, 2 trips to the International Blues Challenge and a #1 Jimi Hendrix Tribute Album under their belt, Oreo Blue is still harnessing that lightning in a bottle. They opened for ZZ Top just three weeks ago at the Walmart AMP in front of a near-capacity crowd and received a standing ovation. The band can deliver three decades of original blues-rooted songs or the most fun and memorable of your classic rock favorites from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Oreo Blue is centered on OMA Lifetime Achievement Award winning guitarist, Gary Hutchison. This show will be a memorable one for all ages.
