Here’s who will be at Railyard Live this weekend:
Friday Night: Garhole Records Showcase
Chris Acker has forged an unmistakable lyrical style that’s truly his own, containing more reverence than reference to those who came before him. His songs flow gracefully from introspective, quiet tunes worthy of the modern Folk Music canon, to downright barnburners ready for the dancehall and all the space in between.
Jude Brothers is an Arkansas-forged and New Mexico-molded folksy-leaning singer-songwriter with a penchant for whimsy and tenderheartedness.
Jess Harp fuses country with guitar-effects-driven textures for a unique style that spotlights their earnest vocals.
Saturday Night: Paul Benjaman & Seth Jones
Building on the classic Tulsa Sound pioneered by the likes of J.J. Cale and Leon Russell, Paul Benjaman expands their groove-based genre to include most styles of American music with a strong dose of guitar power. Totally Tulsa.
"Jones is probably the most ear-catching, head-turning blues/roots guitarist since Derek Trucks" ---Guitar World 2021
High praise for Tulsa's slide guitar wizard and master luthier. Seth Lee Jones and his band deliver blistering blues rock full of soul that crackles with energy.
Doors open at 7pm and shows begin at 8am. Tickets can be secured at www.railyardlive.com.
The 2022 season schedule is from May 5 to September 24. Entry to each event is free, but every guest must register to reserve a spot and show proof of registration upon entry. The Railyard Live venue is located at 101 East Cherry St. in Downtown Rogers.
