Keynote Speaker: Blake Warren Woolsey | Chief Strategy and Communications Officer, Walton College

Woolsey is the Chief Strategy and Communications Officer at Walton College, entering this new role as the college prepares for its 100th anniversary. Woolsey says she is grateful for the journey, inspired by the mission, and excited to help narrate the next chapter of Walton College’s story.
Before working at Walton College, Woolsey was the chief communications and development officer for Heartland Forward (HF), a “think-and-do" tank based in Bentonville, Arkansas, with a mission of working as a resource for communities and states to advance economic success.
Prior to joining HF, she spent three years as a corporate strategist and executive coach at her company Blake Communications. Through her role, she spent time on a variety of projects such as the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, Central Arkansas Water, St. Bernard’s Hospital, Single Parent Scholarship of NWA and the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
Woolsey also served as the executive vice president of Mitchell Communications Group for 10 years, leading the Center for Business, Training and Leadership Excellence, the Creative team — as well as a team focused on activating campaigns for national companies at a hyper-local level. And before joining Mitchell, she was partner and co-owner of Executive Communications Consultants, LLC.
Since the beginning of her career in public relations, Woolsey has dedicated herself to building relationships and enhancing the reputations of others. Whether it is helping leaders rise to their potential, working with non-profits to raise capital, or counseling businesses on how to elevate their brand, Woolsey plays an instrumental role in the success of those around her.
