2024 Emerging Leaders Presents Experience NWA: Experience Community

Backgrounder: The Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders (NWAEL), a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber, connects and engages young professionals through personal and professional development experiences. This is an important focus area of the Chamber’s mission-work to activate leaders in our community. The NWAEL program is open to anyone in Northwest Arkansas that has a desire to get involved in our community.

What’s new: NWAEL is launching a new series of events this year called Experience NWA. Five unique experiences held throughout the year will celebrate Northwest Arkansas and what makes our region a great place for young professionals to live, work, invest, visit, and play.

1. It’s a 2 for 1 experience: You’ll have fun meeting new friends and learning something new at Experience NWA events via unique activities and community-focused leadership development opportunities.

What's Happening: At this Experience event you will be Speed networking with nonprofits. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in brief, timed interactions with representatives from various nonprofit organizations. Take a look at who will be in attendance:

2024 NWA Experiences:

1. Thursday, March 28 | Community | Venue: Center for Nonprofits
   Natalie Tibbs with the Children & Family Advocacy Center will speak on “Serving Community and Following Your Heart”.
   Attendees will network with local nonprofit organizations to learn more about how they can get plugged in and help serve their community.
2. April 2024 | Quality of Life | Venue: TBA
3. Thursday, July 11 | Arts & Culture | Venue: Rogers Experimental House | Downtown Rogers
   A local artist will talk about their art, the local art scene and impact of art on NWA.
   Attendees will tour the Art on the Bricks Art Walk and the Experimental House.
4. August 2024 | Industry | Venue: TBA
5. October 2024 | Natural NWA | Venue: TBA
