The Chamber's Annual Celebration is the highlight of the Rogers Lowell Chamber year, recognizing the organization’s current and incoming leadership.

The big picture: We’re telling the very important story of the Chamber’s Vision/NEXT initiative and how it keeps inspiring the entire organization to be forward-thinking in serving business and community together. The initiative’s desired outcomes are ensuring that RLC is relevant to the next generation; competent in an era of rapid change; necessary because our mission-work solves real business and community challenges; and sustainable with our funding.

The year at-a-glance: 2023 was both a tribute to the generations of servant leaders who helped the Chamber be successful and a celebration of 101 years of Chamber history building business, activating leaders, and building business in our region.

What's New:

  • Brand-new luncheon format from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • In response to our members’ feedback this format makes it more convenient for busy professionals to attend.

Guest Speaker | Jon Harrison

Backgrounder: Early in his career at Caterpillar, Inc., a Fortune 100 Company, Jon was recognized for his leadership approach and people skills, and the ability to drive bottom line results. Over the last half of his career, he was tasked with leading and transforming under-performing entities around the globe into thriving businesses.

  • More than the bottom line: It was during his time at Caterpillar that Jon saw first-hand how disengaged employees not only affect the bottom line of a business, they, also experience having a lack of purpose, physical and emotional health issues, and negative relationships with family and friends.
  • Impacting lives: Jon’s definition of success goes well beyond just improving the bottom line of an organization; it also focuses on improving both the work and home lives of the people in the organization.

The big picture: Jon has proven that long-term sustainable success is driven by four factors:

  1. Establishing high behavior and performance expectations.
  2. Hiring the right people who align with those expectations.
  3. Holding everyone accountable to the expectations.
  4. Measuring the impact of the work culture on an ongoing basis.

We’ll be celebrating our 2023 successes, and recognizing the organization’s current and incoming leadership and Community Awards winners in a brand-new luncheon format from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
