Empowering Your Physical & Mental Health in 2022
As the pandemic continues there is a growing impact on people’s physical and mental health. Being in isolation, fears over a spreading disease, and lack of social interaction can severely impact one’s daily life. Join Hustle In Heels as we have a discussion between Dr. Pearl Samuel, Family Medicine Physician with Northwest Medical Plaza - Pinnacle, and Nicole Calhoun, owner of ELXR Yoga Studio in Fayetteville and Rogers on how physical and mental health are connected and provide advice on ways to empower your physical and mental health this year.
Parking Instructions - When you arrive at the building, pull into the parking garage between Ruth's Chris and 1st National Bank, and follow it up to the top floor. You can enter the building through the rooftop of the parking garage.
About the Speakers:

Dr. Pearl Samuel, M.D., is a family practice physician affiliated with Northwest Medical Plaza at Pinnacle. She earned her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, and then completed family practice residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Samuel is passionate about helping adults and children (ages 5+) achieve and maintain optimal health. In 2019, Dr. Samuel was ranked #2 for family physicians in the state of Arkansas by Top Rated Local. Her personal goal in life is to be the absolute best version of herself and empower as many women as she can along the way.

Nicole Calhoun believes that teaching yoga is so much more than calling out poses. It's the establishment of a spiritual and emotional connection between teacher and student. Her ultimate goal is to create an all-around yoga experience that will be remembered. From carefully crafted and engaging playlists to intelligent sequencing and positive affirmations, the experience you'll receive will be like no other. She received her 200 hour teacher certification from Karmany Yoga-Dallas (Dallas’ #1 yoga studio, as voted by D Magazine) and is currently pursing her Yoga Medicine 500 hour advanced yoga certification with Tiffany Cruikshank specializing in yoga therapy for athletes, the spine, and shoulder. She is also a social media influencer, an avid half-marathoner, and a passionate world-traveler.
