ROGERS, AR — Experience a vibrant summer evening in Downtown Rogers with Art on the Bricks, featuring local art, live music, poetry and of course, plenty of shopping, and great food.

Get ready to be wrapped in creativity! The Rogers Historical Museum is hosting a vibrant three-day event, the “Patchwork ’n Patterns Quilt Show,” at the Key Wing Education Center — and it's completely free to attend.

At the 2025 Commencement Ceremony, Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) awarded Stan Dark the Honorary Associate Degree in Community Enhancement—an accolade reserved for individuals whose service significantly uplifts the quality of life in the region. In recognizing Dark, NWACC honored not only his long career as an artist and designer but also his transformative leadership in building and sustaining a thriving art community in Downtown Rogers.

J.R. Shaw, Executive Director of Destination Rogers, was recently featured in a compelling interview as part of Medium's series “How To Create a Travel Experience That Keeps People Coming Back for More.”

With more than three decades in the hospitality industry and a decade leading tourism efforts in Northwest Arkansas, J.R. shares valuable insights into what makes a destination unforgettable. Earlier this month, Downtown Rogers took center stage in the world of specialty coffee as Onyx Coffee Lab hosted the 2025 U.S. Cup Tasters Championship—one of the premier competitions within the U.S. Coffee Championships. Held at The 2nd Street Studio from May 8 to May 10, the event welcomed top coffee tasters from across the country for three days of intense competition, community gathering, and coffee appreciation.

In the vibrant world of student musicianship, few names are hitting the high notes quite like Matalin Long. The rising senior at Arkansas Arts Academy (AAA) High School in Rogers has just earned one of the most prestigious honors in youth music education: a place on the 2025 School of Rock AllStars Tour. It’s a rare achievement, one reserved for less than 0.5% of over 70,000 School of Rock students worldwide—a testament to her incredible talent, passion, and hard-earned skill.

The streets and storefronts of Downtown Rogers may look familiar to viewers of the newly released rock drama Shakey Grounds, a powerful independent film distributed by Gravitas Ventures. Shot extensively across Northwest Arkansas—including multiple locations in Downtown Rogers in February of 2023--the film is already generating buzz for its heartfelt storytelling and strong local ties.  

One year ago this month, Downtown Rogers welcomed a unique addition to its creative scene: The Bird’s Nest by Kollecta Creations — the brainchild of local maker and entrepreneur Hector Amaya. In just twelve months, what began as a personal dream has grown into a beloved community space where creativity thrives, memories are made, and people come together to craft, connect, and create.

Downtown Rogers is about to get a boost of bikes, beer, and community spirit. Ozark Beer Company is once again teaming up with nationally recognized nonprofit Can’d Aid to host a large-scale Bike Build & Donation event—and this time, it’s happening right on Ozark’s own patio.

Mark your calendars: on Tuesday, May 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, where locals of all ages are invited to join in the hands-on effort to build over 1,200 bicycles for Northwest Arkansas youth in need. The very next morning, on May 22nd, the brand-new bikes will be donated to 2nd graders at the International School at Mary Mae Jones—many of whom will be receiving their very first bicycle.

After nearly a decade of impactful service, Karen Wagaman is wrapping up her tenure as Senior Vice President of Downtown Development for the Rogers Lowell Chamber. Since the role’s inception nine years ago, Karen has played a vital role in supporting the extraordinary growth and transformation of Downtown Rogers—helping shape it into the vibrant, thriving destination it is today. As Karen passes the torch, the Chamber is proud to announce the hiring of Sam Danneberg as the new Director of Downtown Development.

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, the beloved locally owned retail store and e-commerce site founded by longtime friends Melissa Turpin and Dana Smith, has long been a hub for home cooks seeking high-quality kitchen tools, cookware, and culinary inspiration. Known for their collaboration with local culinary talent and their carefully curated selection of regional products, Honeycomb has built a loyal following both in-store and online.

This spring, Honeycomb Kitchen Shop is excited to announce a new chapter in their growth with the addition of their very first marketing intern, Addie Isbell.

Downtown Rogers will come alive with creativity and connection during the next Art on the Bricks Art Walk on Thursday, May 8, as education, art, and community converge in an unforgettable evening of inspiration.

The Arkansas Arts Academy (AAA) has been a vital part of Art on the Bricks for years, delighting visitors with vibrant student performances scattered throughout downtown. They have expanded their programming in their new student gallery, the A3 Gallery, located at 228 S. 1st Street right in the heart of Rogers. AAA has established a new centerpiece for artistic expression in this historic storefront. This dedicated space not only showcases stunning visual works created by students but also serves as a lively performance venue each month during the May Art Walk.

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, Downtown Rogers is embracing the rich diversity and bold flavors of Asian cuisine.

The culinary scene is transforming how the community eats and connects—offering depth, authenticity, and innovation.

In celebration of the 250th anniversary (semiquincentennial) of this “Shot heard round the world,” the Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum in Rogers, Arkansas, has released an exclusive limited edition Patriot gun.

After nearly a year of recovery and rebuilding, Cook’s Natural Food Market is celebrating a long-awaited soft opening this week, marking a triumphant return to its home at 726 W Walnut Street in Downtown Rogers. The shelves are well stocked with canned/durable goods, and some of the refrigerator cases are stocked with products. Produce and the additional refrigerated goods should be well stocked by Wednesday, April 30th which is also the week of their 30 year anniversary of operating Cooks Market in Rogers. The beloved family-owned grocery store, known for its wide selection of natural, organic, and allergy-friendly products, was forced to close its doors following severe tornado damage incurred on May 24, 2024. The Store is open 9:00 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 9 am - 5 p.m. on Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

After the devastating Memorial Day Weekend 2024 tornadoes severely damaged the original Waffle Hut building, it seemed like the end of an era. However, thanks to the generosity of Smokin’ Joe’s Ribhouse, the Hazelbakers are once again serving up breakfast favorites—this time in a new location.

The New Artists of Northwest Arkansas ANA Gallery is among the many businesses participating in the event, which will take place during the Art on the Bricks Art walk on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, showcasing the vibrant local arts scene across Downtown Rogers. The Rogers Lowell Chamber will celebrate their new gallery at 300 N 2nd Street and the first All Member Show in their new space with a ribbon cutting event at 5;30 p.m. during the Art Walk. 

The March Art on the Bricks Art Walk marks a significant milestone for the Artists of Northwest Arkansas (ANA) as they reopen in Downtown Rogers after overcoming the devastating Memorial Day weekend tornado of 2024. The disaster forced the closure of ANA’s previous gallery and classroom space, previously at 121 W Walnut Street. However, through resilience and strong community partnerships, the organization continued to offer classes, exhibitions, and arts programming across the region. Now, ANA is thrilled to unveil its new home at 300 N 2nd Street, Rogers, AR, as part of this month’s Art Walk.

The Arkansas Arts Academy (AAA) is set to bring a vibrant mix of music, art, and community engagement to the Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk at the A3 Gallery, 228 S 1st Street, on Thursday, February 13th, from 4:30-7:30 pm. As a satellite creative space of AAA, the A3 Gallery will transform into a hub of artistic expression and heartfelt community connection under the event’s theme, “Love Language.”

After last year’s devastating tornadoes in Northwest Arkansas, Ozark Beer Company (OBC) is taking action to help restore the region’s natural landscape. As part of their canopy recovery initiative, the brewery is giving away 5,000 native tree seedlings to the community on February 8 at 1 PM at their brewery in Rogers.

A unique piece of public art, the "Tornado Town" sculpture, has been installed at Ozark Beer Company, 109 N. Arkansas Ave, Rogers. The work honors the resilience and humor of the Rogers community following the devastating Memorial Day weekend tornadoes.

This extraordinary 9-foot-high, 500-pound sculpture was constructed using debris salvaged from the storm, including 475 trampoline springs contributed by community members. The springs, a poignant symbol of recovery, have been meticulously transformed to represent a swirling tornado, which looms over a small, detailed town built from storm debris. The installation includes a replica of Rogers' water tower, a church, and houses, all symbolizing the spirit of those affected by the tornado.
