Centennial Celebration Journeys Back in Time and Envisions What’s Next
Over 900 people attended the Chamber’s Centennial Celebration of Business & Community on March 29 at the Rogers Convention Center. The annual Celebration is always the highlight of the Chamber’s year, recognizing businesses and individuals in the community as well as current, outgoing, and incoming leadership. This year’s event took attendees on a fun journey in time looking back at the last 100 years and exploring what’s next for the future.

AEP SWEPCO Foundation Grant Invests in Community's Academic Success & Workforce Development
The Leadership, Education, Advancement, & Development (L.E.A.D.) project is a strategic support program for Hispanic/Latino students in the Rogers Public High Schools. L.E.A.D. provides new opportunities for academic success. It helps to better prepare our community’s youth with tools, training, and direction in their pursuit of higher education, and it clears a path to career opportunities when the participants are ready to enter the job market helping local businesses with workforce development.

Chamber Leading the Path to Recovery
Over the past year, our business community has proven to be resilient and played a crucial role in combatting the pandemic from shutdown and survival to reopening safely. Most recently, businesses have been navigating unprecedented challenges of the recovery in progress. Chambers of Commerce Recognized and Celebrated for Work Transforming Communities
Chambers of Commerce have never been more crucial, helping their communities through a pandemic and focusing on economic recovery and growth far into the future. In October, communities across the nation and the state recognized and celebrated these organizations, professionals and volunteers for their work that is both catalytic and transforming. Governor Asa Hutchinson proclaimed the week of October 19-23 as Chamber of Commerce Week while the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives observed National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day on October 21.

The Small Business Council (SBC) is a group of volunteers who either own their own business or work for small businesses in the area.
Under the umbrella of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council, Hustle In Heels (HIH) was formed by a group of Northwest Arkansas women.
Chamber Tutorial Introduces On-Demand Video Content
The Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce hosts Chamber Tutorial events every other month for new members, existing members who want a refresher on member benefits, those who want to learn about the Chamber, and those considering becoming a member of the Chamber. In addition to the in-person event, the Chamber has released on-demand videos that go over various aspects of Chamber membership.
