DTR Merchant Meet Up Shares Opportunities
Two New Downtown Attractions: Downtown Rogers businesses are invited to host either of two new public art installations that will further attract patrons to the Downtown community. Both projects will be published and promoted in news releases, on social media, and on websites inviting people to experience the many amenities in Downtown Rogers. Participants in the January DTR Merchant MeetUp met the artists and had the first opportunity to sign up to be locations for these art installations.
Ozark Beer Company to Transform Backyard into Community Gathering Space
Ozark Beer Company is collaborating with local artists to reimagine the downtown Rogers Brewery’s backyard as a family-friendly place for welcoming
the community and hosting public events. In addition to expanding seating space for patrons, the brewery aims to have the ability to host popular programming like festivals, artist fairs, and swap-meets without the threat of rainouts or the need to block off Arkansas St., and to make the integration of art a priority as development of the back yard takes shape.
A Texas Size Welcome in Downtown Rogers
The Chamber and the City of Rogers hosted a site visit from representatives of Frisco, Texas to discuss urban planning, Downtown revitalization, and comprehensive growth plans for our city. Hosted at Ozark Beer Company in Downtown Rogers, this multi-hour meeting created great conversation highlighting the redevelopment of Downtown Rogers and learning the similar challenges and opportunities found in Frisco.
New Multifamily Development Breaks Ground in Downtown Rogers
Specialized Real Estate Group broke ground on Downtown Rogers' first ground-up, large-scale, multifamily development during a ceremony Thursday, February Feb. 23. Designed by Modus Studio, the $28 million development will include four three-story buildings with 121 apartments including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.
High Street Real Estate Development Breaks Ground on Ritter & Spool Apartments
High Street Real Estate & Development has broken ground on the Ritter and Spool Apartments, an exciting new addition to Downtown Rogers. Located at two corners of South 1st Street and West Chestnut Street, the development will feature two three-story buildings with a total of 45 modern apartment units. While designed with contemporary amenities, the project blends seamlessly with the historic character of the area, reflecting the goals of the Rogers Lowell Chamber to make Downtown Rogers a prime destination for living, working, and recreation.
