A Century of American Glassware at Rogers Historical Museum
The Rogers Historical Museum presents the upcoming exhibit “A Century of American Glassware.” The
exhibit will be on show in the Collections Gallery from February 17– August 10, 2024.
Rogers Historical Museum Receives SE Museums Conference Technology Award
Rogers Historical Museum is the recipient of the 2023 Southeastern Museums Conference (SEMC) Gold Award for Gallery Installations, Under $1,000 Budget Category. The SEMC Technology Competition recognizes excellence in the use of technology within Southeastern United States museums and celebrates the accomplishments of innovative work.
The award-winning entry is a music interactive included in the museum’s temporary exhibit, “A Parade of Apple Blossoms.” This exhibit highlighted the Apple Blossom Festivals of the 1920s that were a grand celebration of the apple industry in northwest Arkansas. These festivals featured elaborate costumes, Apple Blossom Queen contests, period music, regional tours, and more that turned Rogers and the surrounding area into “A Parade of Apple Blossoms” each spring.
Celebrate the Magic of the Season: DTR Christmas Pic Passport
The City of Rogers is spreading holiday cheer with the 4th Annual Christmas Pic Passport event. Residents and visitors alike are invited to embrace the holiday spirit by exploring downtown Rogers adorned with dazzling Christmas lights and capturing the magic at seven holiday-themed locations.
This year's Christmas Pic Passport promises a fun experience for the entire community. Participants who visit each of the seven designated locations and capture the festive atmosphere with pictures will be rewarded with a cozy, limited-edition Rogers-branded blanket. The blankets serve as a warm reminder of the joyous occasion and make for a perfect holiday keepsake.
Downtown Rogers Celebrates Rogers History of Artists and Makers
The June 8th Art on the Bricks Art Walk celebrates the founding of our city and highlights artists who share a sense of community through their art. Rogers was officially founded on June 6, 1881, and we are celebrating Founders Day during the entire month of June. Rogers has been home to a variety of creative individuals who have given our city a rich and diverse cultural history in the arts. These artists have been painters, woodcarvers, sketch artists, quilters…the list goes on! No matter what medium they used or whether they were a hobbyist or a professional, it is evident that all these artists were just as passionate in the love of their craft as Rogers’ artists are today.
Family Day at Rogers Historical Museum
The Rogers Historical Museum invites you to join them for Family Day 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, June 3rd. Family Day has something fun for everyone with numerous hands on activities and demonstrations including meeting farm animals, face painting, blacksmith demonstrations and Butterfly Park tours. You will also see beautiful crafts, including Patchwork ‘n Patterns: A Quilt and Coverlet Show on display Friday June 2 and Saturday June 3.

Two locally owned businesses and the Rogers Historical Museum are partnering with a Bentonville based non-profit organization to offer a free children's activity that serves to support children in Ukraine. Brick Lane Books, Baked by Kori and Rogers Historical Museum invite you to stop by their free creation stations and make art to be sent to children in Ukraine.
