Meet-Up Brings Merchants Together in DTR
The October Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up brought together Downtown Rogers businesses at Honeycomb Kitchen Shop with refreshments provided by Butter & Bloom. DTR small business owners and staff gathered to learn about the significance of establishing a robust online presence. The event was organized by the Rogers Lowell Chamber, with Brittnie Simon, founder and owner of Collab Design Co., as the guest speaker.
Big Heart Bread Opens Doors to the Future

"Her vision for the business and the her desire to support our community and schools makes for a winning combination," she continued. New DTR Digs for Avenue Design Company
Rebounding in style: Avenue Design Company has relocated her home decor and design business to a temporary retail space at 207 S 2nd Street, Downtown Rogers, just in time to welcome the Fall season. Tracy Alexander, the founder and owner, and her team have shown resilience and dedication after suffering a massive inventory loss due to tornado damage at their previous location at the Southeast corner of 2nd and West Walnut Street.
Downtown Rogers Merchants Convene Over Coffee and Conversation
Convening in DTR: Every 3rd Thursday the Rogers Lowell Chamber invites the Downtown Rogers business community to network and gain inspiration from other locally-owned business owners. House 1830 provided the venue for the April 18 gathering where attendees learned about this popular new restaurant and bar that quickly became a destination location for foodies in Downtown Rogers.
A family affair: Attendees met Binh and Susannah Hoang, and Quang and Vatsana Hoang and learned about the two couples’ entrepreneurial paths that led to restaurant ownership in Downtown Rogers. The House 1830 team welcomed fellow business owners with their house made waffles and coffee provided by Iron Horse Coffee Company.

Hosted by the Rogers Lowell Chamber, this gathering serves as a platform for fostering connections, exchanging ideas, and sharing best business practices.
The Onyx Experience: The venue for this week's meet-up is the esteemed Onyx Coffee Lab located at 101 E Walnut Street, Rogers AR. From 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 21. Attendees will have the chance to indulge in coffee and conversation while delving into the insights shared by Kimberly Johnson, the District Manager for Onyx Coffee Lab and Hail Fellow Well Met.

Startup Junkie Showcases Jon Allen & Onyx Coffee Lab: Meet the Founder!
Startup Junkie launched their Global Entrepreneurship Week festivities on Monday with a Downtown Rogers Coffee Crawl, an event where local entrepreneurs connect with the business community and share their journeys over a cup of coffee.
Jon Allen, co-founder of Onyx Coffee Lab, shared the Onyx startup story with more than two dozen business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. The Downtown Rogers roastery headquarters provided an ideal venue for the gathering convened by Startup Junkie.
November Downtown Merchant Meet-Up Celebrates Entrepreneurship
November is National Entrepreneurship Month, a time to celebrate the entrepreneurs who serve their communities and bolster the U.S. economy. This week we also recognize the American spirit of entrepreneurship by celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week. Downtown Rogers is the perfect place to celebrate entrepreneurship. Our historic Downtown is largely made up of locally owned businesses, many of which were founded by the people who own and operate them today.
The Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up--a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber--provides an opportunity for Downtown Rogers business owners, their team members, and other interested individuals, to convene, connect, and converse about relevant topics over coffee.
Smithsonian Taps Three NWA Foodie Faves
Ozark Beer Company, Yeyo's and Pink House Alchemy are among a select group of businesses invited to Washington D.C. by The Smithsonian Institution to participate in a celebration of the Ozarks. "Visitors to the 2023 Smithsonian Folklife Festival will experience the cultural landscape of the Ozarks region of the U.S. with the program The Ozarks: Faces and Facets of a Region."
The event, set for June 29 to July 4 and July 6 to 9, takes place on the National Mall between 12th and 14th streets. Musicians, dancers, cooks, artisans, and storytellers are part of the program. The festival is produced by the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and presented in collaboration with the National Park Service. The program will feature large-scale murals and a custom-built mountain bike trail, music jam sessions and performances, dance and craft workshops, food and plant knowledge demonstrations, and curated discussions.

Celebrating One Year -- The Little Candle NWA is Shining Bright in Downtown Rogers
In early 2020 Vania and Mark Greco began making candles as a hobby. However, it wasn't long before Vania was inspired to start a business even though--or perhaps, because--the pandemic was in full swing. The young entrepreneurs began selling their products in pop-up shops and farmers markets throughout Northwest Arkansas. The popularity of their products continued to grow, and they made the decision to open the storefront at at 112 N 3rd Street in Downtown Rogers.
Ozark Beer Co. and BlackMan Brewing Announce Can Release and Tasting
The craft beer community in NW Arkansas just got a little more worldly. Ozark Beer Co. is collaborating with BlackMan Brewing, coming to us from South of the border. The new collaborative craft beer offering will be featured during BITE LITE, a component of the 2022 Bite NW Arkansas Event Series which kicks off at Railyard Park in Downtown Rogers on Friday, July 29. Ozark Beer has been working with Bite NWA from the beginning. This year they have the opportunity to bring to the party, nomadic brewer and founder of BlackMan Brewing, Barrett Tillman. Together they are creating a new taste of Northwest Arkansas.
