Ozark Beer Company to Transform Backyard into Community Gathering Space

Ozark Beer Company is collaborating with local artists to reimagine the downtown Rogers Brewery’s backyard as a family-friendly place for welcoming
the community and hosting public events. In addition to expanding seating space for patrons, the brewery aims to have the ability to host popular programming like festivals, artist fairs, and swap-meets without the threat of rainouts or the need to block off Arkansas St., and to make the integration of art a priority as development of the back yard takes shape.

Pig Gig Arkansas Returns to Downtown Rogers

The community is invited to Pig Gig Arkansas, as the annual festival returns to Downtown Rogers. Pig Gig Arkansas is a family friendly event organized  Jay Alexander Foundation to benefit the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation. The event includes a pig roast BBQ and live music performances to honor the life of Jay Alexander, a Rogers resident who passed away in 2011 at age 20 from a rare form of liver cancer. Presented by Jay Alexander Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the City of Rogers at the Downtown Rogers Butterfield Stage, the festivities are set for 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 101 E Cherry St, Rogers, AR. 

Rogers Short Film Festival Returns to the Victory Theater

The third annual Rogers Short Film Festival invites filmmakers of all ages to compete in categories based on experience and budget. The event provides an opportunity for creatives from across the country and internationally to convene in Downtown Rogers to meet one another, network, and have a platform for their films. Short films, with a run time of 30 minutes or less, are juried into the festival and screened at the historic Victory Theater. The event dates are March 3 – 5, 2023, Categories include: K-12 Student, Postsecondary Student, Amateur, and Professional. Film submissions and sponsorship opportunities are open now.

Maurice is a Renaissance woman with an incredible amount of talent. She is dedicated to sharing her passion for dance as a professional performer and instructor. She brings social dancing to her students using a fun, fast and easy learning process. Her studio offers group and private lessons for adults and children as well as social dance nights. 

BITE NW Arkansas Returns with Expanded Event Series Beginning in DTR

Event organizers announced the BITE NW Arkansas food festival will return this summer and fall as a three-part event series in conjunction with the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. The series will feature events in Downtown Rogers (July 29), Springdale (September 1) and onsite at Pinnacle Country Club (September 23-25) during #NWAChampionship Week.

Since the event’s inception in 2015, the festival has celebrated the region’s best cuisines, restaurants and chefs, giving attendees an elevated culinary experience in their own backyard. Traditionally, held in one location during #NWAChampionship Week, the expanded series will move to various locations throughout the region with both daytime and evening culinary experiences for the community to enjoy.

The 2022 #BITENWA Event Series will kickoff in Downtown Rogers on Friday, July 29 with a one-night event at Frisco Plaza. In addition to the culinary opportunity, the community may experience the first of a two evenings of jazz and blues music. Railyard Live, presented by iHeartRadio, is serving up the Railyard Live Jazz & Blues Block Party on Butterfield Stage. Artists performing include: Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal with Grady Nichols Jazz, The Sons of Brasil, and the Austin Farnam Trio.
