Randy Wilburn, public speaker, communicator, storyteller and founder of I Am Northwest Arkansas podcast, recently recorded an interview with Lacie Bray of Ozark Beer Company from the Firmin Garner Performance Studio at KUAF Public Radio in Fayetteville.

Lacie shared the profound journey of entrepreneurship, community engagement, and brewing innovation in the heart of the Ozarks. Podcast listeners are told the tale of the brewery's genesis from an idea born amidst the scenic beauty of Walla Walla, Washington, to a flourishing community staple in downtown Rogers, Arkansas.

DTR Breweries Participate in Statewide Celebration

On March 30th, Ozark Beer Company and Greenhouse Aleworks will be among 24 breweries across the state of Arkansas celebrating Pint Day organized by the Arkansas Brewers Guild. The Pint Day will serve as a fundraiser for the Guild and highlight local taprooms and breweries across the State. This year’s theme is the “Great Arkansas Aleclipse,” and features a commemorative pint glass celebrating the day.

Ozark Beer Company to Transform Backyard into Community Gathering Space

Ozark Beer Company is collaborating with local artists to reimagine the downtown Rogers Brewery’s backyard as a family-friendly place for welcoming
the community and hosting public events. In addition to expanding seating space for patrons, the brewery aims to have the ability to host popular programming like festivals, artist fairs, and swap-meets without the threat of rainouts or the need to block off Arkansas St., and to make the integration of art a priority as development of the back yard takes shape.

All the buzz: Ozark Beer Company (OBC) is celebrating their first honey harvest with a celebration and work session, 6:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6.  Honey and beer have a long history! Honey beer is a type of specialty beer made by brewing an ale or lager with some honey. We are know the folks at OBC are busy as bees, but, did it occur to you they might have their own hive? Ozark Beer Company installed a beehive with the expert assistance of Lauren Anderson, founder of Calm and Confidence Beekeeping in Little Rock. While OBC isn't yet producing product made by their resident bees, they hope to move in that direction in the future.

April 7 is recognized as National Beer Day in the U.S., and April 6 is known as New Beer's Eve. Why, you ask? April 7 is the anniversary of the end of Prohibition in the United States. Those who frequent Downtown Rogers restaurants and bars don't need a special day to enjoy locally the popular beverage that has been made for over 5,000 years. But it is a great reason for us to shine the spotlight and help you get acquainted with one of the founders and co-owners of Ozark Beer Company, Lacie Bray.  

Hawk Moth Brewery Shifts Business Model and Departs Downtown

Hawk Moth Brewery & Beer Parlor, the Downtown Rogers nano brewery and tap room, announced they are leaving Downtown Rogers. Company founder, Bradley Riggs, shared the company is shifting its business model to wholesale production and distribution only, and expanding into a larger location that will allow double the current production capacity. 

Downtown Rogers Craft Beer Festival Celebrates Oktoberfest

Polka music and lederhosen will take over Butterfield Stage from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 101 E Cherry Street in Downtown Rogers. The 7th Annual Rogers Oktoberfest is hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Rogers and the Optimist Club of Rogers. The craft beer festival features an Oktoberfest theme, from blue-and-white decorations to stein-hoist competitions.
