Crochet & Art Collide in March
March brings an exciting fusion of creativity as crochet and art collide during Art on the Bricks' celebration of National Crochet Month and Youth Art Month, 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14. This vibrant event showcases the intersection of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic expression, highlighting the diverse talents of local artisans and makers, both young and old.
Art on the Bricks invites the community to immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of crochet artistry, where intricate stitches and vibrant colors come together to form stunning works of art. From delicate jewelry to whimsical amigurumi creatures, visitors will have the opportunity to marvel at the intricacy and ingenuity of crochet creations. Patrons will also experience the fancy footwork of Rince Academy of Irish Dance and see the art of 8th grade art students from Greer Lingle Middle School.
Celebrate Artober and National Arts & Humanities Month
Getting Creative: Downtown Rogers (DTR) is celebrating Artober during the month of October! All year long, numerous DTR businesses feature a range of artists, makers, and other talented creatives, providing interactive experiences for the community to enjoy. Every second Thursday Art on the Bricks Art Walk provides regional artists the opportunity to demonstrate or exhibit and sell their work in galleries and pop-up shops. From 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. October 12, more than a dozen Downtown Rogers business host guest artists or feature locally made products or offer other fun opportunities to enjoy the DTR creative economy.
Art on the Bricks Gets Digital With Free Artificial Intelligence Workshops, Demos & Exhibits
What’s Happening: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Appreciation Day, celebrated on July 16, is a day to explore the latest advances in AI, and discover how it can help shape our future. So, what better time to showcase the talents of creative digital art practitioners than the July Art on the Bricks Art Walk. Join us as we share the talent of artists who work in the digital realm. Animators, illustrators, photographers, plasma cutters and creative techies dabbling in AI art generators! Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk presents “Digitally Yours, A Celebration of Digital Art.” The community is invited to visit 20+ pop-up locations with digital and traditional art, live music and interactive art experiences, Thursday, July 13, 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Rogers.

Java Dudes Coffee Co. and Mavis WineCo. are collaborating to offer a summer pop-up market featuring creators and vendors from our region. They have selected local artisans with handcrafted products inspired by the heart and soul of talented makers from our community. Make plans to visit Rogers + Art + District and attend RAD on 2nd, Downtown Rogers’ newest makers market offering locally made products They will also feature food trucks serving up a variety of food and beverage options. April Art on the Bricks Art Walk Welcomes the Advent of Spring
April is National Recycling Month and Earth Day is April 22. The April Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk is the perfect time to highlight art that is based on restoration and reuse. We are excited to share the works of than a dozen artists who created art that comes from items that are recycled or repurposed. We are also showcasing the works of dozens of other artists who bring beauty as well as socially and culturally significant messages to the community through art.
Art on the Bricks Art Walk is Thursday, April 13, 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in locations throughout Downtown Rogers.
Ember Fine Art & Tattoo Adds to the DTR Creative Economy
Opening in the fall of 2022, Ember Fine Art and Tattoo is a tattoo studio that aims to blend the worlds of fine art and body art and is owned by Andrea White. While the studio can house up to 9 artists there are currently 4 artists that each provide different styles of work that create a well rounded portfolio and atmosphere of work. The studio features local fine art from NWA artists that also resides in the waiting area and hopes to change the narrative around tattoo studios.
Get Creative at 2nd Street Creation Stations
Two locally owned businesses and the Rogers Historical Museum are partnering with a Bentonville based non-profit organization to offer a free children's activity that serves to support children in Ukraine. Brick Lane Books, Baked by Kori and Rogers Historical Museum invite you to stop by their free creation stations and make art to be sent to children in Ukraine.
Art on the Bricks Celebrates Black History Month with Food, Art, Poetry and Music
Lovers of art, poetry, music, and food are invited to celebrate Black History Month during the February Art on the Bricks Art Walk. Join this collaboration of black creators and thought leaders as we come together as a community and experience the good things in life. Enjoy food and art, accompanied by written and spoken word, collectively inspired by our regions’ black culture and community.
“So It's Black History Month...What Are You Going to Do Beyond Today?” challenges participants to consider their relationship with the rich and diverse black community in Northwest Arkansas. The Black History Month celebration is a free, family friendly event at the Rogers Experimental House, (RXH) 121 W Walnut Street, Rogers, AR.
Veterans Celebrated During Art on the Bricks in Downtown Rogers
ROGERS, AR—The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VA) is partnering with Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk in November to feature the art of U.S. Military Veterans as the nation prepares to celebrate Veterans Day. The Rogers Experimental House, located at 121 W Walnut Street, will showcase the creative works of veterans and other artists during the 2nd Thursday art walk from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 10. Live music, artist demonstrations, and art and crafts exhibits will commemorate the service and talent of military veterans. A reception, sponsored by Kirk Pearson, US Air Force Veteran and owner of, LaborMax Staffing is also planned. Related items of interest include: Civil War art and artifacts and a display of military uniforms from past decades. Downtown Rogers businesses will also host pop-up galleries with art by Rogers Public School Students and a variety of artists.
