Cook’s Natural Foods has been a cornerstone of the Northwest Arkansas wellness community since 1995. For more than three decades, the husband-and-wife team of Susana and Jerry Cook, along with their daughter Shelby, have dedicated themselves to providing more than just groceries. They’ve created a hub for health-conscious shoppers—offering everything from fresh organic produce and meats to a robust supplement section with both name brands and affordable in-house options.

Despite the heartbreaking setback caused by the storm, the Cooks never lost sight of their mission: enhancing the quality of life for others. The many months of rebuilding weren’t easy, but their determination to serve the community they love never wavered.

Patrons familiar with Cook’s know the store is far more than a typical health food outlet. In addition to being a full-service grocery store, Cook’s also stocks medical supplies, household necessities, and even hard-to-find items like gluten-free croissants, vegan pies, and natural laundry detergent. It's been affectionately dubbed a “Gluten-Free Heaven” and a “Vegan Paradise” by loyal customers.

The reopening is more than just a return to business—it’s a renewal of Cook’s mission to support holistic health through nutrition, supplementation, faith, and lifestyle. The bilingual staff, known for their friendliness and deep product knowledge, are once again ready to welcome customers with a helping hand and a smile. And while the store’s entrance is discreetly located at the back, the front gates are open and visitors will once again enjoy the cozy, covered seating area, a peaceful fountain that makes Cook’s a local favorite.

Cook’s Natural Foods is now open for a soft launch beginning Wednesday, Ail 23 as final touches are made to the building and inventory continues to expand. Customers can expect the same exceptional service and extensive selection that made Cook’s the go-to destination for health-conscious shoppers in Northwest Arkansas. The owners are inviting old friends and new faces alike to stop by, say hello, and celebrate the store’s return. and see some new amenities including a new dine in seating area.

In the words of many loyal customers, “I don’t know what I’d do if Cook’s ever closed.” Thankfully, that question no longer needs an answer. Cook’s Natural Food Market is back—and better than ever.
