The New Artists of Northwest Arkansas ANA Gallery is among the many businesses participating in the event, which will take place during the Art on the Bricks Art walk on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, showcasing the vibrant local arts scene across Downtown Rogers. The Rogers Lowell Chamber will celebrate their new gallery at 300 N 2nd Street and the first All Member Show in their new space with a ribbon cutting event at 5;30 p.m. during the Art Walk.

The March Art on the Bricks Art Walk marks a significant milestone for the Artists of Northwest Arkansas (ANA) as they reopen in Downtown Rogers after overcoming the devastating Memorial Day weekend tornado of 2024. The disaster forced the closure of ANA’s previous gallery and classroom space, previously at 121 W Walnut Street. However, through resilience and strong community partnerships, the organization continued to offer classes, exhibitions, and arts programming across the region. Now, ANA is thrilled to unveil its new home at 300 N 2nd Street, Rogers, AR, as part of this month’s Art Walk.

ANA Gallery is among the many businesses participating in the event, which will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, showcasing the vibrant local arts scene across Downtown Rogers.

BACKGROUND:

Founded in 1991 by Beth Vacanti, Artists of Northwest Arkansas (ANA) began as the Fayetteville Art Association (FAA) to connect local artists and promote regional talent. Membership grew rapidly, leading to a name change in 1996 to reflect its broader reach. By 1997, ANA launched its 10-state Annual Regional Art Exhibition, supported by the Bank of Fayetteville and KNWA Fox 24 News which also helped establish a scholarship fund for aspiring artists.

In 2021, ANA secured its first brick and mortar gallery space at the Rogers Experimental House in Downtown Rogers, revitalizing membership from fewer than 5 artists to over 180 within two years. The venue hosted exhibitions, workshops, and events, solidifying ANA’s role in the local arts scene. However, on May 26, 2024, a tornado forced the closure of its space. Undeterred, ANA partnered with arts organizations across Rogers, Springdale, and Fayetteville to continue its programming.

Now, ANA embarks on a new chapter at 300 N 2nd Street in Rogers, AR, reopening during the March 2025 Art on the Bricks Art Walk. This high-visibility location offers expanded opportunities for exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement, reinforcing ANA’s role as a cornerstone of the Northwest Arkansas arts scene and strengthening Downtown Rogers’ reputation as a premier destination for arts and entertainment.
