After last year’s devastating tornadoes in Northwest Arkansas, Ozark Beer Company (OBC) is taking action to help restore the region’s natural landscape. As part of their canopy recovery initiative, the brewery is giving away 5,000 native tree seedlings to the community on February 8 at 1 PM at their brewery in Rogers.

The effort began with OBC’s special release of Limb by Limb, an American IPA brewed in the aftermath of the storm. With $2 from every pint sold dedicated to tree replanting, the brewery raised funds to purchase seedlings from the Arkansas Agriculture Department. The selection includes 1,000 each of Post Oak, Cherry Bark Oak, Persimmon, Shumard Oak, and Southern Red Oak—species chosen for their ability to thrive in the local environment.

In addition to the tree giveaway, visitors to Ozark Beer Company can view a powerful temporary art installation, Tornado Town, which honors the resilience of the Rogers community. Created by local sculptors Tom Flynn and Michael W. Pantzer, the 9-foot-high, 500-pound sculpture is constructed from storm debris, including 475 trampoline springs contributed by residents. These springs form a swirling tornado towering over a miniature town, complete with a replica of the Rogers water tower, a church, and homes—all built from salvaged materials. The sculpture serves as a striking reminder of the town’s strength and perseverance in the face of disaster.

Through initiatives like the tree seedling giveaway and the Tornado Town installation, Ozark Beer Company continues to play a vital role in rebuilding both the landscape and spirit of the community.
