Posted by: Guest Blog Post | LISA Academy on Wednesday, January 29, 2025

The NWA LISA Academy District Science Fair was a testament to our students' creativity, scientific inquiry, and academic excellence. Held on the elementary LISA Rogers-Bentonville campus, this year’s event brought together students, educators, and community leaders to celebrate the power of STEM-C (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) education. The event highlighted LISA Academy's commitment to preparing today's learners to become tomorrow's leaders.

Celebrating Excellence in Science

The district science fair featured many projects demonstrating students’ ingenuity and commitment to addressing real-world challenges. Attendees were inspired by our young scientists' innovative approaches and rigorous research.

Prominent VIPs in attendance included members of the LISA Academy Board and Eric Higgins, who lent their support and encouragement to the participants. The awards ceremony featured an inspiring keynote address by Ibrahim Suid, Software Product Manager at Walmart Global Tech. As a proud LISA North High alum, his speech resonated with students, encouraging them to pursue their STEM-C passions.
