Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSFNWA) is celebrating 40 years of making a difference in the lives of single-parent families. Over these four decades, SPSFNWA has provided vital support to those striving for a better future, transforming countless lives in the process.

Since its inception, SPSFNWA has awarded 21,435 scholarships, totaling over $17.8 million. These scholarships have not only eased financial burdens but also opened doors to education and new career opportunities for single parents. One recipient shared, “Receiving a higher education means my child’s future will have more opportunities and that I get to continue my dreams. It assures me that even though I have a child, I can still achieve them!”

The impact of SPSFNWA goes beyond financial aid. The organization empowers parents to become role models for their children, fostering a legacy of education and success. Another recipient noted, “I value education because my kids are watching my every move. I feel like what they see me accomplish has a huge impact on what they will do in their own lives.”

As SPSFNWA marks this significant milestone, they invite the community to celebrate with them. This anniversary is a time to reflect on the past, honor those who have contributed, and inspire future endeavors. Thank you to the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber for all your years of support. With continued community support, SPSFNWA aims to amplify its impact, ensuring that more single parents can achieve their dreams.
