This summer, Benchmark Group, a full-service architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Rogers, eagerly embraced the opportunity to give back to the community through a variety of local events. Whether sponsoring golf tournaments, engaging in networking opportunities, or supporting charitable causes, the team at Benchmark Group, headquartered at 1805 N 2nd St., is committed to making a positive impact.

Backpacks for Kids: In July, the Rogers team demonstrated this commitment by rallying to support the Samaritan Community Center (SCC). They raised funds for the SCC's "Backpacks for Kids" program, an annual initiative that aims to provide 4,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need during the back-to-school season. In just two weeks, Benchmark Group's team managed to purchase over 1,000 notebooks for the program, significantly contributing to SCC's mission of helping children start the school year well-prepared.
Good Samaritans: The Samaritan Community Center plays a crucial role in the community, offering essential services such as food assistance, free dental care, and more to individuals and families in need. Benchmark Group's participation in these efforts underscores their ongoing dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
Company History
Benchmark Group was founded in 1978 by Paul C. Parks, P.E., initially operating from his home in Rogers as an electrical engineering sole proprietorship under the name Paul C. Parks Engineering. In 1985, the company was incorporated as Paul C. Parks Engineering, Inc., and two years later, it officially became Benchmark Group, Inc.

The company experienced steady growth, moving into a building at 121 W Walnut Street in 1983. Due to continued expansion, Benchmark Group eventually leased six additional buildings in downtown Rogers until 2008. In 2004, Benchmark Group purchased land on N. 2nd Street and constructed a new corporate headquarters, consolidating their entire team into this new facility in 2008. The building was recognized for its environmentally friendly design, earning the LEED® Silver Award from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009.

Today, Benchmark Group employs over 250 people and operates additional offices in Dallas and Houston, Texas. The firm is licensed in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Benchmark Group offers a comprehensive range of services, including architecture, interior design, and engineering (electrical and mechanical). They also provide specialized services such as fire protection engineering, refrigeration engineering, and energy services.
