Rebounding in style: Avenue Design Company has relocated her home decor and design business to a temporary retail space at 207 S 2nd Street, Downtown Rogers, just in time to welcome the Fall season. Tracy Alexander, the founder and owner, and her team have shown resilience and dedication after suffering a massive inventory loss due to tornado damage at their previous location at the Southeast corner of 2nd and West Walnut Street.

Busy as bees: A tremendous amount of work by Tracy and her team went into this move to what is a temporary location. They were tasked with:
-
Vacating the previous location
-
Working with insurance adjusters and moving companies
-
Taking inventory and disposing of all of the water damaged merchandise
-
Packing undamaged items
-
Securing storage units
-
Finding a new retail space
-
Painting and prepping the new location
-
Ordering, unpacking, and setting up the new, smaller retail space, which still boasts an amazing selection and variety

A piece of history: Despite the challenges, Avenue Design Company continues to thrive and grow. As Tracy has grown and evolved she has occupied several historic downtown storefronts:
-
103 W Walnut in the Underbrush Books Space
-
The 213 W Walnut where Honeycomb Kitchen Shop is located
-
124 W Walnut Street, undergoing renovation due to storm damage
-
🆕 207 S 2nd Street near the Historic Lane Hotel
