Girl Power: Women of the Ozarks is a collaborative art exhibit hosted by Ozark Beer Company and featuring female artists from the Ozark Mountain region of Arkansas. Their mission is to:
-
spotlight local, female-identifying artists
-
bring Northwest Arkansas meaningful art in various media
-
provide an opportunity for our community to engage with local artists, and one another
Women of the Ozarks was founded by Tram Colwin and Claire Pongonis, who are visual artists, art educators, and advocates for sharing art throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Meet the Artists: The artists are hosting a gathering to discuss their work 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, during the Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk.
This 2024 inaugural exhibition includes a collection of art by six talented artists working in various media, as they express their unique interpretation of the show’s theme, “Feminine Nature.” The works will be on exhibit in the Ozark Beer Company 2nd floor gallery through August. All works are priced for sale and you may also view them online using this link.
