House 1830 hosted April DTR Merchant Meet-Up

Convening in DTR: Every 3rd Thursday the Rogers Lowell Chamber invites the Downtown Rogers business community to network and gain inspiration from other locally-owned business owners. House 1830 provided the venue for the April 18 gathering where attendees learned about this popular new restaurant and bar that quickly became a destination location for foodies in Downtown Rogers.

A family affair: Attendees met Binh Hoang and his sister-in-law, Chef Be Hoang, and learned how they and their spouses’ entrepreneurial paths led them from separate U.S. coasts to restaurant ownership in Downtown Rogers. The House 1830 team welcomed fellow business owners with their house-made waffles and coffee provided by Iron Horse Coffee Company. Binh shared details of the mid-July Wok & Run, a FUNdraising relay race and cooking competition designed to support the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and hosted by House 1830 in Downtown Rogers.

Getting Acquainted: After self-introductions by all, Binh shared details of the mid-July Wok & Run, a FUNdraising relay race and cooking competition designed to support the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and hosted by House 1830 in Downtown Rogers.

Building business: The Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up was created to foster connections, exchange ideas, and explore collaboration opportunities with fellow business owners, managers, and staff in Downtown Rogers. Attendance is open to all Downtown Rogers businesses and others interested in small business development and economic growth within the downtown sector.

It’s Our Mission: The Rogers Lowell Chamber launched the Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up to facilitate connections and collaborations among Downtown Rogers businesses. Business owners, managers and staff are invited to this monthly get together to connect, converse and collaborate.

Convening downtown businesses: Each month, Rogers Lowell Chamber staff host downtown Rogers merchant meetings at a new location in DTR, inviting business owners to talk about ways the Chamber can help them grow their business while sharing tips and ideas for our downtown community to continue to cultivate success. You're invited to join us every third Thursday!

Why it matters: This illustrates one of the Chamber's key mission-work areas of Small Business & Entrepreneurial Development along with Economic Development for our downtown sector.
