Downtown Rogers will move the needle on groove scale as The Music Depot returns to the music scene! The newly renovated live music venue will set the beat at the heart of the city's music scene and once again host an array of musical genres including jazz, blues, rock, Hip-Hop/R&B, soul, funk, and more. After the soft opening in July 2023, Music Depot closed in October for functional renovations to the space.
The Jazz and Blues club will reopen in mid-March with new amenities like
- a new vault bar and drink menu,
- new bathroom facilities
- fully accessible facilities.
In addition to serving as a traditional jazz and blues club, The Music Depot has a commitment to educating and serving music students. The Music Depot will host open jam sessions, workshops, clinics, and artist residencies. With its strategic location in the heart of Downtown Rogers, it is committed to be a vibrant hub for artistic expression and a fantastic addition to the cultural landscape of the city.

Co-founder, Anthony Ball, program director for the Music Depot shared his excitement about the reopening. “Of course, renovations are always difficult, but I’m grateful for the City of Rogers, our leadership, and contractors for getting us to this point," explained Ball. "Music Depot will fill a gap in the music ecosystem for an intimate venue with great local and touring band musicians in our region," he continued. "Our region is becoming an attractive market for musicians to add to their tour schedule, because of our great appreciation for arts and culture. My phone is ringing off the hook from local and national bands that want to come to the Music Depot.”
Music Moves is so excited and honored to join the Downtown Rogers Community! Grady Mathews, Board Member, says “It's going to be incredibly exciting to have Music Moves in Downtown Rogers! Music Moves works with some of the best musicians and educators in the region to bring both incredible music and incredible community driven programs to NWA and our entire region. As a permanent part of the downtown community there is no doubt Music Moves will add even more positive energy to a downtown scene that is really hitting its stride.”
