Gearing up: The idea for Stay True Bike & Barber is a unique establishment born from a shared interest in skateboarding, vintage cars, motorcycles, and now mountain biking. The new shop is co-owned by Texas transplants, Brandan & Twyla Licatino, and Kevin McAllister.

Brandan and Twyla are parents to two young children, Sofia and Hazel, and they decided to move away from Houston and retreat to small-town living in 2021 for a better quality of life. Brandan, a master barber with over 20 years of experience, has previously founded and operated several successful brick-and-mortar businesses in the hair industry and beyond, including Roots the Salon, Cutthroat Barbershop, and Steelmill Gym.
Kevin, who relocated from Austin with his partner Kristen, has a background in the construction industry and established Salt Group, a commercial contracting company. Kevin was hands-on with the renovation of the historic Rule Building at 112 W Walnut Street. The two-story brick building was previously home to Putman Clothing Building, Tom & Jerry Shoes and the “old” Showcase Trophy and Awards shop. These entrepreneurs have embraced this once neglected, historic building and created a beautiful new commercial space where they are sharing their passion for the outdoors.
Both Brandan and Kevin share a passion for outdoor activities, with Brandan's love for biking stemming from his childhood experiences at his parents' bike shop and Kevin's passion for mountain biking in Northwest Arkansas.

They chose Downtown Rogers as the location for their brick-and-mortar space due to its historical charm and proximity to nature, particularly The Railyard Bike Park.
Stay True offers a unique blend of services, combining a full-service barbershop with a bike repair shop. They also provide a curated selection of products, including bike parts, skateboards, grooming essentials, apparel, and complete bikes. The owners aim for Stay True to become a hub for the local bicycle and skateboarding community, while also welcoming both locals and visitors to experience their passion for riding bikes and having fun.

Overall, Stay True Bike & Barber embodies the owners' dream of combining work and play, creating a space where people can come together to enjoy their shared interests and lifestyle. Whether you're in need of a haircut, bike repair, or simply want to browse their selection of products, Stay True invites you to stop by and say "Hi" anytime.
