All the buzz: Ozark Beer Company is hosting their first ever Silent Disco on Friday, December 22nd from 9:30 - 11:30. The taproom, located at 109 N. Arkansas St., Rogers, AR., will be open late for Silent Disco goers to enjoy the nighttime vibes and groovy music from local DJ Afrosia. Along with music, glow-in-the-dark face and body painting will be available from artist Viviana Pagan.

Getting wired: A silent disco is an event where listeners immerse themselves in music through wireless headphones that are synced up to one station or in this case one DJ. The listener is also in control of how loud the music is and can take a break from it at any time.

A healthy alternative: According to an article by Refinery29, silent discos benefit our mental health. 15 million people in the United States struggle with social anxiety. “Because silent discos are not a traditional party environment, they provide a comfortable alternative for some people who experience this condition. But by being able to focus on the music in your ears, instead of the people around you, those suffering from anxiety disorders can find refuge at these events.”

Building community: Ozark Beer Company believes in community events that bring us all together. With their first Silent Disco, they invite  neighbors and friends across NWA to connect through dance. To help connect people to groovy music, they have partnered with DJ Afrosia.

Spinning the hits: “Specializing in an eclectic blend of future beats, mashups, and rare genres, DJ Afrosia is known for spinning today's hits + yesterday's classics. Soon after discovering multi-genre DJing, she immersed herself in building her brand as a femcee while becoming a local fixture of Northwest Arkansas. DJ Afrosia has performed at a variety of events including Northwest Arkansas’s Annual Business Women’s Conference, Crystal Bridges New 365 New Year’s celebration, and Bentonville’s FORMAT Festival.”
