The judges for the Rogers Christmas Parade have been announced.

Representing the Rotary Club of Downtown Rogers is Joe Fisher and Jeff Hairston, club president the Rotary Club of Rogers. Representing Rogers Optimist Club is Donna Gallagher. Downtown Rogers business owners are also supporting the Rogers Christmas Parade as parade judges. Sherry Puttkammer, owner of The Dotted Pig, Beth Welborn, owner of Brick Lane Books and Vince Tate, co-owner of The Copper Crown and OZ Smokehouse will participate in the judging.

Parade entries are competing for trophies in four categories.

• “Spectacular Sparkles Award” to the outstanding display of lights/illumination.
• “Elfin Magic Award” most impressively features children.
• “Glory of Angels Award” to the entry that best illustrates a religious theme.
• “Knock Your Stockings Off Award” to the most outstanding use of the parade theme, “All Things Christmas.”

A family tradition: The Rogers Christmas Parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 1st in Downtown Rogers. The parade will follow its customary route beginning at 5th Street and Poplar Street and then proceeding east through the heart of downtown, North on 1st Street and West Walnut Street.

All that glitters: Rogers Christmas Village will sparkle and shine from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. THIS Friday, December 1. Come celebrate “All Things Christmas” during the Rogers Christmas parade starting at 6:00 p.m.

Spreading cheer: Railyard Park and Frisco Plaza provide an expansion of the holiday festivities in Downtown Rogers (DTR). Shop holiday items from 40+ local artists and makers booths decked out in Christmas lights.

• Grab a bite at a variety of food trucks and take photos with Santa and the Grinch.
• Capture family memories in a free photo booth from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Provided by Kristin Sherrets Photography.
• Enjoy performances from The Nutcracker by Ballet Westside Dance Studio from 5:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
