Startup Junkie launched their Global Entrepreneurship Week festivities on Monday with a Downtown Rogers Coffee Crawl, an event where local entrepreneurs connect with the business community and share their journeys over a cup of coffee.

Jon Allen, co-founder of Onyx Coffee Lab, shared the Onyx startup story with more than two dozen business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. The Downtown Rogers roastery headquarters provided an ideal venue for the gathering convened by Startup Junkie.

Allen shared segments of the business’ journey, and told participants “one thing that has remained constant is our commitment to creating coffee for coffee people.” Their commitment to growers and developing set standards and practices to support them have also cultivated close relationships that allow this small NWA coffee roaster to buy the best coffee in the world.
