Merchant Meet-Up at TxAR House

November is National Entrepreneurship Month, a time to celebrate the entrepreneurs who serve their communities and bolster the U.S. economy. This week we also recognize the American spirit of entrepreneurship by celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week. Downtown Rogers is the perfect place to celebrate entrepreneurship. Our historic Downtown is largely made up of locally owned businesses, many of which were founded by the people who own and operate them today.

The Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up--a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber--provides an opportunity for Downtown Rogers business owners, their team members, and other interested individuals, to convene, connect, and converse about relevant topics over coffee.

Thursday, November 16
8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Hosted by: Pub on the Bricks, Greg Alexander
106 W. Elm St., Ste. 100 | Downtown Rogers

Coffee will be provided by Java Dudes Coffee Co.!

Celebrating with our merchants: RLC launched the DTR Merchant Meet-Up to facilitate connections and collaborations among Downtown Rogers (DTR) businesses. Business owners, managers and staff are invited to this monthly get together to connect, converse and collaborate.

Convening downtown businesses: Each month, our staff hosts Downtown Rogers merchant meetings at a new location in DTR.

  • We invite business owners to talk about ways the Chamber can help them grow their business.
  • You're invited to join us every third Thursday!

The November program: We’re celebrating how our entrepreneurs grow their businesses while also giving back. Ozark Beer Company (OBC) co-owner, Lacie Bray, and members from her team, Amy Hearting and Marty Shutter, will share some of the ways they facilitate the growth of other businesses and nonprofit organizations.

  • OBC is one of a number of DTR businesses that partner with other locally owned businesses and nonprofits. This is an important way they give back to community, and in the process, raise awareness of their brand.

Why it matters: A key mission of the Chamber is to support small business and entrepreneurial development along with economic development for our downtown sector.
